A Prayer for the Environment

Lord, I pray for the preservation of Your beautiful creation. Help us to be good stewards of the earth, caring for the environment and all living creatures. May we respect the land, the oceans, the forests, and the animals You have created. Guide us to make sustainable choices, protect natural resources, and combat environmental destruction. Inspire us to care for the planet as an act of worship, and may Your creation continue to flourish for generations to come.

Genesis 2:15

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” Lord, help us to fulfill our role as caretakers of Your creation. May we honor You by protecting and preserving the earth. Amen.

Father, I pray for the environment and for all those who are working to protect it. Guide us in our stewardship of Your creation. May we make choices that preserve and honor the earth, ensuring that future generations can enjoy its beauty and resources. A Prayer for Healthcare Providers

Lord, I lift all healthcare workers to You. I pray for strength, wisdom, and compassion for those who serve the sick and vulnerable. May You guide their hands and minds as they care for others, and may their work be filled with Your healing power. Provide them with physical, emotional, and spiritual resilience as they face the challenges of their profession. Bless them with a sense of purpose and joy as they serve Your people, and may their work be a testament to Your love and grace.

“I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Lord, I pray that healthcare workers will continue to serve others with the same heart of compassion You demonstrated. May their service reflect Your love for the sick and needy. Amen.

Father God, I pray for all doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers. Please bless them with physical endurance, mental clarity, and emotional peace as they face the demands of their work. 為香港醫護人員祈禱

親愛的主！求禰教導我們，使我們懂得為醫護人員禱告，學會對他們關心。

主啊！我們常常只記念病人，卻是忽略了那些看顧病人的醫護人員。我們往往只同情和關心病人，但對醫護人員卻只有要求，沒有體恤。我們只注意到病人的痛苦，卻沒有理會醫護人員長期勞累工作，日夜不分的輪值，不容有失的壓力，為了追趕醫院的要求，還要不停的進修、增值。許許多多的醫護人員都已經疲累了，甚至消沉了。主啊！求禰記念他們，讓我們去體會他們的壓力和張力。

主啊！除禰以外，那堪稱代表禰的不就是教會；教會的守望者，不就是禰的僕人嗎？教會以外，最能代表禰的，不就是醫院嗎？醫院的守望者，不就是醫護人員嗎？他們觸及生命，顯示憐憫慈愛，自古以來，醫護都是最神聖的工作，曾幾何時，這根本就是祭司的責任。雖然如今教會與醫院並不一體，但我們彼此間的目的與作用，不也是一樣為了生命作守望者、扶持者、救護者嗎？主啊！求禰幫助醫護人員，讓他們看見教會是他們的夥伴，也幫助教會，讓我們知道醫護人員是我們的同工。

今天，我們的城市因為財政的困難，已經出現了種種的問題。而我們的醫院，正是承受著最重的壓力。為了節省支出，醫護人員的擔子更重、責任更大；如今推行的「聯網」的政策，不單使工作的環境變得更困難，更會使醫護們對醫院的歸屬感更少。求主幫助掌管政策的人，讓他們明白以人為本的道理，盡量的讓醫護人員能有一個穩定安心的工作環境，也求主感動教會，對醫護人員付出更多的關心與支持。奉主耶穌的聖名，阿們！

A Prayer for the Elderly

Lord, I pray for the elderly in our communities. I ask that You bless them with good health, peace, and joy. May they feel valued and loved, and may their wisdom and experience be honored. I pray that they would find companionship and support in their later years and that they would continue to be a source of guidance and inspiration to younger generations. Lord, may they feel Your presence in every season of life and be filled with Your peace.

Proverbs 16:31

“Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.” Lord, I thank You for the wisdom that comes with age and pray for the elderly in our world. Amen.

For those with Terminal Illness

Dear God, help them to navigate their current season of life with strength and gratitude. Give them the courage to accept their current reality. Rid their hearts of any form of bitterness and anger. Lord calm their nerves and soothe the pains from the cancer, medications and chemotherapy. Wrap your loving arms around them and help them to keep their eyes on Jesus. Dear God, I pray that when it is time for you to call them home to you, it will be pain-free and free of struggles. May they feel a deep sense of peace and gratitude for their lives in that moment as they look to Jesus. Dear father,

I lift my aging parents to you today and ask that you help them navigate the fears, overwhelm and challenges that come with this new season of life with ease. Take away every form of anxiety about their future and give them the courage and grace to face each new day with strength and gratitude.

Lord, surround them with your love and faithfulness in tangible ways. May they experience your goodness and mercies in their lives like never before. Fill their hearts with your joy and peace. Help them to embrace their aging years with their faith in God intact while keeping eternity in view.

Point them to your truth and wisdom and may your word and presence be their anchor and guiding light as they live out their remaining days on earth. Father help them to ponder through their lives and show them where they need to make amends and choose forgiveness. I pray for our aging parents and the elderly amongst us, that you will supply all that they need to navigate this season of life. Meet their daily needs and show them your goodness and favor.


I pray that the finances to meet their physical, material and health needs will always be available as and when due. Empower and bless their children and loved ones financially so that they will have more than enough to care for them.


Lord, even as you feed and care for the birds of the air, I pray that these ones will not suffer hunger, shelter or lack. You will send helpers and strong support systems into their lives who will show them kindness in their old age. I thank you heavenly father for a constant supply of the needed care, finances, love and support in this season of their lives. Amen!
